The Lunar Luna Tour 2020
With her energetic attitude, natural charm, soulful vocals and, last but not least, her phonky rap flow, Iris Gold has impressed audiences across Europe. So it's no surprise that Iris and her band played more than 30 festivals in summer 2019. Now they will continue their concert marathon with the Lunar Luna Tour early next year, including 9 dates in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In June 2019, Iris released their long-awaited debut album "Planet Cool". Since then, it's been a crazy ride for Iris Gold, who has quickly grown far beyond the Danish borders. She played for French President Emmanuel Macron when he invited her to the Élysée Palace in Paris. In August, she performed at the Meltdown Festival with the two legends Nile Rodgers and Dave Stewart on stage at the sold-out Royal Festival Hall in London. Shortly afterwards, she played at the German festival Kinerlitzchen & Wilde Möhre.
Iris Gold is known for her impressive live show, which led to a nomination for the Danish Music Awards 2019 in the category "Best New Live Artist of the Year". She invites the audience into her colorful flower-power universe that pays tribute to her great inspirations Prince, Janelle Monae, Lizzo and Wu Tang Clan.
