Harald Hurst & Gunzi Heil
Jubez
Am Kronenplatz 1, 76131 Karlsruhe
They are not always on the road together, but always enjoy it. Without a fixed program, trusting the moment. For years, they have been stumbling through curtain slits, where available, onto all possible and impossible stages. With the intention of entertaining their audience in such a way that they are glad they didn't stay at home. An unlikely pair. They couldn't be more different. Purely on the outside. Two like red wine and cola. But that fits.
Harald Hurst - He is not a cabaret artist, nor a comedian. He could perhaps be described as a writer and literary entertainer. That doesn't sound very spectacular. But he has been performing as such on the region's stages for many years. Harald Hurst is the most widely read author in Baden. Perhaps because with his often spontaneously told anecdotes, with his poems about the tricky comedy of everyday life with his anti-heroes, he makes the audience laugh at themselves. This is not the worst form of hilarity. And people sense that he is one of them.
Gunzi Heil - the "semmelblonde Schlacks" (BT) and multiple winner of the state's Kleinkunstpreis is a freewheeling cabaret artist, musician, parodist, puppeteer and preferably everything at the same time. On the piano, he tests Baden slang for its evergreen suitability between blues, boogie and ballad, manages to shrink fairy tales to 100 seconds at a turbo tempo on the keys or always provides plenty of material for curious capers with his puppets.
