He effortlessly manages to break through the barrier between the podium and the auditorium and you learn a lot about Gnann's home town, the idyllic village of Reichenbach near Bad Schussenried, his seven siblings and, of course, the sad fate of Horst the cockerel. Gnann plays ping-pong with his audience, picking up every ball and firing back punch line after punch line.
All laugh muscles are strained to the utmost when he plays the groom, saturated with wheat, who is searching for his "kidnapped bride". Musical accompaniment is provided by his "Russian" from Kaiserstraße, Ernst Kiesalia's Igor.
