Karlsruhe has a lot to offer when it comes to film. It is the birthplace of the Bambi awards ceremony, where the world's top stars used to gather in the 1950s and 60s. But Karlsruhe has also been and still is a popular filming location. Films such as "Bufallo Soldiers - Army Go Home" with Joaquin Phoenix, "Kasper Hauser" with André Eisermann, "Die Moral der Ruth Halbfass" with Senta Berger or "Der Wald vor lauter Bäumen" with Tatort commissioner Eva Löbau were made here. Numerous TV productions have also been made in the fan-shaped city.
Follow in the footsteps of these productions on the tour and find out what made the individual film locations so special.
