The Lake Stage For the first time, the Zoologischer Stadtgarten in Karlsruhe is providing the atmospheric backdrop for this incomparable summer event
COOL SUMMER JAZZ with a fantastic program from
Peter Lehel put together. When a very special atmosphere takes hold at dusk, nature, music, and culinary delights magically come together to create a sensory experience.
The
Baden-Württemberg State Police Orchestra (LPO BW) under the direction of
Prof. Stefan Halder with
Peter Lehel will open the concert as a guest soloist and composer. The more than 40 musicians are distinguished by their high musical caliber and great stylistic versatility. For this summer event, the virtuoso saxophonist will perform
Peter Lehel under the title “
"Symphonic Jazz" his works
“Fantasy for Saxophone & Wind Orchestra” and “
Echoes of Friendship".
Part II features a performance by the Dreamband
Soul Jazz with Thomas Siffling & the Allstars under the title “
"A Soul Experiment". A true musical extravaganza featuring works such as “
"Watermelon Man" from
Herbie Hancock In true Blue Note style, they'll thrill the audience.
The culinary delights, paired with refreshing drinks from
Mövenpick Market and the
GastroTeam the Hemingway Lounge
MONOS.
