December 13 to 16 | TRIANGEL Open Space, Kronenplatz
Quantum mechanics is one of the main pillars of modern physics. This discipline is used to describe phenomena such as atomic physics. Quantum games, on the other hand, are computer games that use the properties of quantum mechanics in the game structure. Players intuitively apply these properties while playing - for example, with regard to probability statements that are constantly made while playing.
At this interactive evening organized by the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), visitors can take part in an online chess quantum game. In this variant, additional properties are added to the original game. Just play along!
The EFFEKTE evening on December 13 will provide further insights into the fascinating world of quantum science.
