A walk on the theme of architecture and law introduces architects Friedrich Weinbrenner, Josef Durm, and Erich Schelling. They are joined by Berlin architect Paul Baumgarten, who is not from Karlsruhe.
Karlsruhe is the residence of law, with the seats of the Federal Constitutional Court and the Federal Court of Justice, among others. Great Karlsruhe architects have designed buildings for these high legal institutions and - linked to law and justice - democracy. A walk on the subject of architecture and law introduces the architects Friedrich Weinbrenner, Josef Durm and Erich Schelling. The Berlin architect Paul Baumgarten, a non-Karlsruhe resident, is also featured. He planned and built the new buildings of the Federal Constitutional Court on Schlossplatz, which opened in 1969.
