In his almost 30-year musical career, Swiss musician Florian Arbenz has proven time and again that he is not only a brilliant drummer, but also has a good nose for unusual and exciting combinations of musicians and instruments. This is impressively demonstrated by his Conversations series, in which he has recorded twelve albums with twelve different line-ups. He has been supported by such illustrious colleagues as Jim Hart, Tineke Postma, Kirk Lightsey, Wolfgang Puschnig, Nils Wogram and Ivo Neame.
In this trio with the American sax legend and long-time Blue Note artist Greg Osby and the Dutch Hammond virtuoso Arno Krijger, this comes into its own. The trio transports its audience into a world full of rhythmic tension, swinging solos, virtuoso improvisations and dreamy sounds.
