Eastern pillar of Karlsruhe city center
Kronenplatz is located at the eastern end of Kaiserstraße and leads from there into the heart of the fan-shaped city.
In addition to its function as the eastern pillar of Karlsruhe's shopping mile, Kronenplatz has primarily created a place for Karlsruhe's youth - and not just because of the nearby KIT Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The youth and meeting center (Jubez) located on the square offers numerous popular cultural leisure activities and events for the city's young residents. In addition, owner-managed stores provide shopping pleasure by making individual shopping possible. In summer, afternoons can be spent socializing by the fountain or in the adjoining cafés.
