  • Management assistant for tourism and leisure
    Duration: 3 years (can be shortened to 2 ½ years)
    Vocational school: Robert Schumann School, Baden-Baden
    Prerequisite: At least intermediate school leaving certificate, advanced technical college certificate or Abitur
    Remuneration: According to TVAöD

    Start of training: September 1, 2027
    Application deadline: February 14, 2027

    What you can expect:
    • Getting to know different areas of the tourism and leisure industry
    • Intensive contact with customers, partners, service providers, and colleagues
    •    Getting to know the organizational processes of a complete destination marketing organization from a tourism and commercial perspective
    • Acquiring extensive specialist knowledge
    • Diverse and exciting tasks, including your own projects
    • Working in one of the most digital tourist information centers in Germany

  • Bachelor of Arts: Business Administration - Tourism, Hotel and Catering
    Duration: 3 years/6 semesters
    Partner university: Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, Lörrach site
    Prerequisite: General higher education entrance qualification/entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences with aptitude test
    Remuneration: According to TVAöD

    Start of training: October 1, 2028
    Application deadline: January 31, 2028

    - Theoretical training in small groups (theoretical phase at the DHBW in Lörrach)

  • Trainee in PR/public relations
    Duration: 2 years, can be shortened to 1 ½ years under certain conditions
    Requirements: Good university degree in a suitable field, e.g. journalism, public relations or a humanities/cultural/linguistic degree, affinity for communication and public relations

    To be filled from 01.07.2027 at the earliest.

    - Varied and challenging training with a systematic introduction to PR, press and public relations work and online marketing
    - Collaboration in exciting projects
    - Independent work in a dynamic team
    - Interesting contacts to companies, media, cultural and leisure facilities
    - Individual training courses

  • Trainee in cultural marketing
    Duration: 2 years, can be shortened to 1 ½ years under certain conditions
    Requirements: A good university degree (Bachelor's or comparable) in a suitable field, e.g. cultural management, marketing or a humanities degree, affinity for communication and public relations as well as strategic project work

    To be filled from 01.09.2027 at the earliest.

    - Independent work in a friendly and dynamic team
    - Collaboration on exciting marketing projects and implementation of trade fair appearances, campaigns and promotional events

    - Interesting contacts to Karlsruhe's cultural institutions, public institutions, media, business and leisure facilities
    - Individual training courses
