Online concepts for the
Karlsruhe retail sector
Artificial intelligence, social media, influencer marketing, video content - the whole world is talking about it, but only a few retail businesses are using the new marketing tools and are really fit online
Online marketing no longer just involves a website or an online store. Customers gather information via social media, make purchases based on digital advertisements or value new payment methods such as PayPal. Small businesses often lack the knowledge and the personnel and time capacity to devote to these topics.
In cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) the Karlsruhe City Marketing the KME Karlsruhe Marketing and Event GmbH 2025 is facilitating a practice-oriented exchange between students and individual stores in Karlsruhe city center for the fourth time as part of the "Online concepts for the Karlsruhe retail trade" project.
In a KIT project, selected retailers are supported by students in optimizing their online performance - whether website optimization, search engine advertising, social media marketing or the conception of Google and social ads. In a joint analysis with the students, an individual concept is created and implemented directly. This gives the participating stores the tools they need for their digital and stationary present and future.
The project will take place again this year in the summer semester, i.e. from the beginning of May to mid-July 2025.
A cooperation of KME Karlsruhe Marketing and Event GmbH and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
