Disposal fund
for the neighborhoods
Design your neighborhood!
From now on, small-scale measures and projects in the city districts can be financially supported. A central component of this are the so-called disposition funds, which enable citizens, initiatives, cultural and educational institutions, associations and companies to actively participate in changing and shaping the city. These neighborhood budgets are intended to promote innovative ideas that support the development goals of the respective neighborhoods.
These disposition funds consist of four neighborhood-specific budgets from which up to 100% of the project costs can be financed. The neighbourhood management team provides support during the application and implementation process to ensure that the projects can be successfully implemented.
Interested parties can fill out an application form and present their project ideas. A decision-making committee, consisting of neighborhood stakeholders and representatives of the City of Karlsruhe, evaluates the applications and regularly makes funding decisions. Particular attention is paid to ensuring that the projects support the neighborhood-specific development goals.
You can find the application form for the disposition funds on the city administration's project page www.karlsruhe.de/city-transformation.
Applications can be submitted either by e-mail to city-transformation@karlsruhe.de or by post to the Office for Urban Development of the City of Karlsruhe, 76124 Karlsruhe. In addition, applicants must enclose a de minimis declaration to prove compliance with EU regulations on subsidies.
