Neighborhood impulse
"Small church"

Eastern Kaiserstrasse quarter

Gallery
Text

The Quartier Östliche Kaiserstraße will blossom at the end of April 2024 with the first results of the "Kleine Kirche" neighborhood impulse. With the aim of revitalizing the quarter between market square and Kronenplatz even more liveable, an oasis of well-being will be created in front of the "Kleine Kirche" in the form of temporary greenery. The specially planted trees will be installed by a team of trainees from the municipal horticultural department. Additional seating will increase the quality of the area and invite young and old to linger and chat in a relaxed atmosphere.

Together with the church and local actors, the forecourt of the "Kleine Kirche" will be transformed into a lively meeting place and event venue. From the festivities of the "Festival of the Senses" on April 27 & 28 to the Karlsruhe City Festival on October 12 & 13, 2024, visitors can expect numerous activities to join in and discover.
