Karlstrasse goes digital!

Karlstraße, one of the most central shopping streets in Karlsruhe city center, is breaking new ground in marketing. Karlsruhe Marketing und Event GmbH is supporting Karlstraße in the development of a digital marketing strategy as part of its neighborhood marketing.
The aim of the project is to increase the attractiveness of Karlstrasse as a shopping and experience destination and at the same time drive forward the digitalization of the district. To this end, the advertising agency entrusted with the conceptualization, "Zeitwerk", is developing a comprehensive strategy in collaboration with the stakeholders in order to link the online and offline marketing measures with one another and tailor them to the target groups of Karlstrasse.
The marketing strategy includes the development of a dedicated Instagram account and further social media marketing, online advertising and search engine optimization. The advertising agency will work closely with Karlsruhe Marketing und Event GmbH and the stakeholders in the Karlstraße district to develop a holistic concept.
As the level of knowledge regarding online marketing varies greatly, a workshop was held on 8 May to align the expectations and basic understanding of the neighborhood stakeholders. The development of the digital marketing strategy for Karlstrasse begins immediately.
The 1st Digital Marketing Workshop is a project as part of the City Transformation Process of the City of Karlsruhe.
