On February 14, 2025, four volunteers from Karlsruhe provided a special Valentine's Day surprise in the first construction phase of Kaiserstrasse: starting at 2:30 p.m., they distributed 2,000 red roses to passersby in the city center. With a warm greeting "from the construction site" and a friendly smile, they brought joy and a touch of romance to everyday life amid the excavators and construction site.
The rose distribution campaign was a measure of the city marketing as part of the construction site marketing on the occasion of the redesign of Kaiserstraße.
