Especially at Christmas time, Karlsruhe offers an annual shopping experience for the whole family - diverse, atmospheric and full of magic. In addition to the Ferris wheel, ice skating rink, curling arena, children's land and the iconic flying Santa Claus, Karlsruhe's retailers and local restaurateurs also surprised visitors with festive activities and attractions in 2024.
The stores, hotels and restaurants in the first construction phase (Adlerstrasse to Ritterstrasse) of the redesign of Kaiserstraße were easy to reach during Advent and were looking forward to your visit. With a bit of luck, you will receive a free ticket for the Ferris wheel at the Christkindlesmarkt or for the Stadtwerke Karlsruhe WINTERZEIT receive.
The most important information
A total of 2,500 free tickets were made available. The distribution of the free tickets began on November 26 with the start of the WEIHNACHTSSTADT Karlsruhe and lasted as long as stocks lasted - the distribution concept was determined individually by the companies. The free tickets for the Ferris wheel were redeemable until December 23, 2024, the WINTER TIME free tickets always Monday to Thursday until January 26, 2025.

The free ticket campaign was a measure of the city marketing as part of the construction site marketing on the occasion of the redesign of Kaiserstraße.
