Whether taking a shopping break or observing the redesign of Kaiserstraße with interest - from April to October 2023, high-quality seating along Kaiserstraße once again invited visitors to discover and linger.
Combined with seasonal, insect-friendly planting from the organic greenhouse of the Karlsruhe city nursery and small tables, the ten wooden benches created space for encounters and experiences in Karlsruhe's city center.
The furniture was specially developed for public spaces by the company CITYDECKSand manufactured in Baden-Württemberg.All the wood-based materials used are from sustainable and certified forestry from local forests.
The temporary furnishing was a measure of the city marketing as part of the construction site marketing on the occasion of the redesign of Kaiserstraße.
