Fächerrad

The Fächerrad is the public bicycle hire service offered by the city of Karlsruhe. You can hire one of the some 400 bikes via the app, terminals or BikeComputer and return it to any publicly accessible junction within the city centre, and further afield you can choose one of the twelve stations to return the bike. There are also 16 e-bikes available for hire at Central Station and "Berliner Platz". The basic rate is one euro per half hour, two euros for e-bikes. With the annual subscription, the first 30 minutes are for free each time you borrow a bike. Students get a 50 per cent discount on the annual subscription.
