Whether it's a plate dish or a 6-course menu, our kitchen team presents a successful mix that doesn't shy away from experimentation. Incidentally, almost all of the game specialties come from Sören's own hunt. Last but not least, a great selection of wines with a focus on Germany ensures that no throat remains dry. No starched table linen, silverware or stiff service. The atmosphere here is urban and relaxed, with class.

Our Restaurant Anders is located directly on the beautifully situated Turmberg, high above Karlsruhe, with a unique view as far as the Rhine. The special location makes every visit a real experience and provides vacation flair right at the gates of the city.

Chef Sören Anders, known as the youngest star chef in Germany, is constantly reinventing himself and his cuisine. We are currently presenting a small, fine regional menu that brings a vacation atmosphere to the Turmberg: creative, regional snacks - inspired by Sören's travels through Europe's major cities - invite you to try, share and enjoy. The dishes are reminiscent of tapas, but are interpreted individually and reflect the diversity of our region.
We pay particular attention to using products from local hunts and the surrounding forests. As a passionate hunter, Sören Anders regularly brings venison and other treasures straight from nature to your plate - fresh, sustainable and with great respect for the product.
Our "Turmberg snacks" are not classic main courses, but a culinary smorgasbord on small plates that invites you to share and reorder - just as the mood takes you. Our carefully compiled wine list with regional and international wines is the perfect accompaniment.
The idea for our creative appetizers has its origins in the Mediterranean "tapa": originally served as small appetizers with drinks in bars, tapas developed over time into a diverse, sociable culture of enjoyment. We take up this idea and invite you to go on a culinary journey of discovery with us at Turmberg - with fresh, regional ingredients, lots of creativity and a wonderful view.
Flexible opening hours for groups:
For larger groups or business lunches, we are also happy to open our restaurant outside regular opening hours by prior arrangement, especially on Saturdays and Sundays at lunchtime and on Monday evenings.
