Also this year, the entire city center will become a decentralized stage and exhibition space for media art, illuminations and luminous actions as part of the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE Light Festival.
The SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE Karlsruhe returns for the 10th time to the baroque facade of Karlsruhe Palace and transformed it into a digital work of art for numerous visitors from all over the world. To mark the 75th birthday of the German Basic Law, this year the SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE is devoting itself to the topics of law and democracy.

The SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE Karlsruhe took place for the first time in 2015 for the 300th birthday of the city and has been delighting the public every summer since then. Over a million people have already visited the art experience on the 170-meter-long baroque palace facade.
