Keep your eyes peeled when you are out and about in the city centre on Advent Saturdays this year: Following on from the Nikolaus campaign launched by the City Initiative Karlsruhe, where Christmas angels will hand out mini gingerbread hearts in the city centre on 6 December, City Marketing will continue to distribute small gifts to customers in the city centre. Volunteers from the City of Karlsruhe will be giving out a total of around 10,000 small, lasting surprises with the core message "from the heart - from Karlsruhe" on 7, 14 and 21 December along Kaiserstraße and in the fan-shaped streets.

Retailers and City Marketing are also giving away festively designed postcards with a Christmas message for visitors to take away free of charge in numerous shops in the city centre while stocks last.  Provided with a festive greeting card and lovingly wrapped in Karlsruhe wrapping paper if requested, the gifts from Karlsruhe are unmistakably local – and certainly from the heart. Gifts that come from Karlsruhe and therefore from the heart are guaranteed to bring a smile to the face of every recipient.

Karlsruhe retailers and City Marketing wish you a Merry Christmas and lots of fun shopping in the Christmas City!
