An advent walk for the whole family

On an Advent walk through the Christmas city of Karlsruhe, children and their families discover interesting and also unknown details about our beautiful fan-shaped city. With a lot of fun and Christmassy anticipation, we will walk through Karlsruhe marvelling at the Christmas decorations. The walk takes you via Christkindlesmarkt on Friedrichsplatz, via Kinderland St. Stephan to the Stadtwerke Eiszeit in front of the castle.

All dates and further information can be found here.

From light cleaners and light rooms - A walk between light and shadow

The walk between the castle and the Christkindlesmarkt deals with the history of lighting and the Christmas symbolism of light. Why did people in the past need a wick trimmer and not anymore? Light also came with its risks: In 1847 the court theatre burnt down.

All dates and further information can be found here from October.

Anders-Genießen-Tour over the Christkindlesmarkt

ANA & ANDA invite you to the Anders Genießen tour of the Christkindlesmarkt. They lead to stands that are synonymous with organic quality, regionality and fairness - marvel at the diversity of the eco-fair offers.
