The Karlsruhe Christkindlesmarkt had to be canceled prematurely this year due to the currently applicable Corona regulations. The goods and art craft market on the market square continued until December 23rd.

The regulations from the state of Baden-Württemberg specified applied.

For the fenced areas (good & art craft sector) on the Marktplatz, the 3G regulations applied at both the basic and warning levels (vaccinated, recovered or tested), while at the alert level I and II, the 2G regulations applied (vaccinated or recovered). Admission has then only been granted to those who have been vaccinated or have recovered, in accordance with the applicable regulation of the state of Baden-Württemberg. Visitors were asked to understand that medical mouth/nose protection must be worn at all times and to make use of the hand disinfection dispensers provided.
