Nicolamie – the new concept store in Karlsruhe

Downtown Karlsruhe—or, more specifically, the first floor of the ETTLINGER TOR Center, has gained a very special boutique: Nicolamie. The concept store by Nicole Wetzel—whom many Karlsruhe residents may already know from the Tamaris Store (also in the Ettlinger Tor) and have valued for her fashion and accessories advice for many years—attracts customers with select fashion, accessories, and many items that make life more beautiful.

Under the motto “Your daily pieces styled by Nicole,” Nicolamie, the new concept store in the “Fan City, ” opened its doors for the first time on April 29, 2026: “For me, Nicolamie is the fulfillment of a long-cherished and huge dream,” the owner reports proudly. Just two weeks after taking possession of the keys, the owner has set up shop on the first floor of the ETTLINGER TOR Center (directly across from the Tamaris store), with great attention to detail, a boutique that inspires with plenty of inspiration, styling ideas, select clothing, and a deep passion for fashion.

Nordic fashion brands at Nicolamie in Karlsruhe

Nicolamie is bright, cheerful, and full of color and a love for fashion. “Pink and orange—every bold color can be found here in the store—and that reflects a bit of who I am,” Nicole reveals. The concept store’s name is a combination of her name and the French word for “friend.” And that’s exactly how the women of Karlsruhe feel when they walk into the shop: like they’re shopping with their best friend. “I love trying things out, mixing and matching styles, and sharing these inspirations with others while offering advice,” says the owner.

The boutique's selection therefore includes specially curated brands such as:

“Starting this fall, we’ll be adding two more brands from Denmark: Cream & Soaked. It’s a fantastic collection, and I’m really looking forward to it,” Nicole reveals.

The clothing selection ranges from oversized jackets and basic shirts to blouses, dresses, cardigans, and much more. The clothing collection is complemented by matching accessories such as caps, jewelry, socks, bags, and scarves. In terms of color, the range covers everything from simple and classic shades like white, black, dove gray, or beige to neon yellow, bright pink, and bold blue. There’s something here for every taste and every age.

"On my Instagram account I showcase all my styles and the latest clothing items. If someone sees something they like in my story, I can set it aside for them right away,” says Nicole. “Staying in touch with my customers is incredibly important to me, and I want them to enjoy shopping and browsing my store,” says Nicole.
