New in Karlsruhe city center: the vegan café Drei&Zwanzig

These are real power women at work: sisters Naëmi and Salome Klawitter have fulfilled a lifelong dream with their café, called drei&zwanzig, and have been delighting Karlsruhe's city center with vegan delicacies, sparkling drinks, and heavenly coffee specialties since May 2022.

Authentic and familiar—that's what sets this new café in Karlsruhe apart. You can tell that the café is family-run just by looking at its name: "My sister and I are six years apart in age. To the day. Because we were both born on August 23, on the same day of the week, even though it wasn't actually possible. Naëmi desperately wanted her little sister to be born on her birthday – and despite everything pointing to the contrary, that's exactly what happened," says Salome. A few years later, the café drei&zwanzig was born. "There was no question that our café would be completely vegan. We have both been vegan for years, and now our whole family is too. That's also our philosophy: by combining two culinary worlds – exquisite coffee specialties and vegan delicacies – we want to promote conscious and sustainable consumption above all else," says Naëmi, explaining the café's concept.

And so the people of Karlsruhe can now enjoy the vegan culinary delights of the Klawitter siblings:

From vegan breakfasts and snacks to lunches, sweets and classic after-work drinks, every occasion is welcome here. A special item on the menu are also the high-quality non-alcoholic versions of the aperitif drinks and the selected non-alcoholic wines. Simply try, enjoy and be convinced.

Karlsruhe's first vegan cheese counter

Visitors to drei&zwanzig should be particularly enchanted by the vegan cheese counter: "We only discovered the variety of plant-based delicatessen cheeses last year. And then it was clear to us: we wanted to offer a vegan cheese counter in our café," says Naëmi.

A delicious selection of vegan cheeses served on an etagere in the cozy outdoor area of the café is always a good idea! Whether for breakfast, lunch or as a snack with a selected wine.
