You can find outdoor equipment for every adventure at Basislager Karlsruhe!
Perfectly equipped for your next trip into nature thanks to expert advice at base camp
Over 30 years ago, owners Andi Ziegler, Martin Kerner, Joachim Martz, and Stefan Krickeberg joined forces and founded Basislager. All four enjoy spending their free time outdoors: traveling, hiking, biking, climbing, camping, and mountain climbing—and so their passion became their profession.
The base camp leaves nothing to be desired for outdoor enthusiasts, starting with the right footwear for women, men, and children. The selection of hiking and trekking shoes is enormous. The right clothing is also provided: from jackets and hats to underwear that can withstand any activity!
If you are unsure and need advice, you are in good hands at Basislager. The team knows the adversities you face outdoors, how to protect yourself against cold or wet weather, and what equipment can and cannot do.
Once you have found the right clothing for outdoor activities, it's time to move on to equipment, of which the base camp has a huge range to offer:
- Sleeping bags & sleeping pads
- Backpacks & Bags
- tents
- Lamps & Lighting
- outdoor furniture
- Mosquito repellent & tick repellent
- Hygiene & Travel Items
- Accessories for bike tours
In addition, of course, everything you need for cooking and supplies in the wilderness, such as dishes, fuel, food, bottles and storage containers, knives and tools, or coolers.
Not to mention the appropriate climbing equipment: from carabiners and ropes to climbing harnesses and much more.
Customer-friendly and service-oriented – outdoor activities should be enjoyable at base camp
One service offered by Basislager is pickup directly at the store: If you find something in the online shop , you can have it set aside at Basislager on Kaiserstrasse. You can then pick it up and pay for it there.
In addition to clothing, equipment, and footwear, the base camp offers much more. Very important: the repair workshop. The base camp ensures that cherished items last a long time and can be used sustainably. Many services are offered: washing, waterproofing, and repairs, many of which are carried out in our own workshop. Smaller jobs are also done immediately!
Another experience: the climbing courses — whether indoor courses for beginners, groups, or multi-day courses for advanced climbers. It's worth stopping by. For more information, visit the website.
