A culinary journey to Africa

Formerly known as Restaurant "Afrika," Restaurant "Mogogo" has been extremely popular since 1988.

Mogogo's extensive menu features dishes from East and North Africa. Lightly spiced with lots of vegetables, you can embark on a culinary journey to faraway Africa. Delicious starters whet your appetite for more: lentil or beef soup or fresh salads. A very special highlight is undoubtedly the famous Mogogo platters, which serve two to eight people and are traditionally eaten in Africa – served on a large platter for everyone: beef, lamb, chicken, or ostrich meat, accompanied by fresh vegetables and Ingra flatbread made from millet, corn, and wheat flour, and baked to a wafer-thin consistency. You can even do without cutlery and eat everything with your hands – just like in Africa. To go with it, Mogogo also serves the special African beer Mongozo with palm nut, banana, coconut, or mango, which is drunk in the traditional drinking bowl known as a "kalwas," bringing the real African feeling to life.
For those with a sweet tooth, the restaurant offers katafi, warm dough threads, or temri, dates with yogurt, honey, peanuts, and sesame paste halva.
