FairGoods
Fairware means conscious consumption: buying useful, ecologically produced, fairly traded and beautiful products, from pans to jeans. Pictograms, which we assign to the products, give our customers more transparency and information for their purchases.
Description
How it all began & our range
Designer Gabriela Merx founded the business over 15 years ago. Back then, it was still called Tragware and only sold bags. In 2016, it reoriented itself with the name FaireWare, more consistent sustainability standards and a broader range. Since then, in addition to a few remaining bag brands, you can find clothing for him and her, a range of household goods, home textiles, shoes and even games.
Our philosophy
Faireware should serve as a place where you can buy beautiful products that are useful and have been produced fairly and ecologically. We rate products according to 14 criteria that we consider to be sustainable, making it easier for our customers to get an overview. Whether traditionally produced or innovative new goods, the sustainability of the products is important to us. In addition to production, transport routes and durability also play a major role.
Our staff will be happy to provide you with more information about the products.
Location
You will find us in Herrenstraße right next to the Federal Court of Justice. Unfortunately, there are hardly any parking spaces in front of our store, so it makes more sense to visit us by bike, on foot or by public transport. However, we are very close to the central shopping street, so it's not too far to make a detour to visit us. S-Bahn stops Herrenstrasse or Karlstor.
