The Exotic House opened in June 2015 and is the second largest house of its kind in a German zoo after Gondwanaland at Leipzig Zoo.
Since May 2015, the Exotic House has been gradually coming to life,
first behind the scenes and then, from the beginning of June, in the large and small
and small hall as well as in the aquariums, terrariums and paludariums.
With around 2000 animals of almost 100 species, the Exotic House now offers a wide variety of different animals.

visitors' favorites are definitely the two-toed sloths. All
animals are captive-bred, not wild-caught.
In the terrariums and aquariums, too, some animalslive in a community
